Todays topic will be lane control. I find in many of my games that people tend to drift off from their lanes. This tikes me off. Why? Because something like this happens.
1)The lane gets destroyed and pushed to rax.
2) The opposing hero is super stacked with a 5 minute butterfly( not acutally)
3) The team becomes permeated throughout the map defending lanes while the other team 5 man pushes mid, raxing and ending the game.
Probably the biggest motivation for people to leave their lanes is the chance of early ganking, and early kills. Yes, this may seem like a good idea, but only if its non em. If it's em you had better stay in that lane, depending on the situation. Its not worth the time you miss losing xp and even gold from creep kills. Getting the kill or even helping you teammate get the kill is worth 200 gold or about seven creep kills. Not worth it in my book becuase ganking doesn't even guarentee the kill. Just stay in your lane in em and work the gold. Gank only if your teammate needs it becuase he is gettin destroyed. Which leads me to my next point.
It is important that you be smart when you control a lane. Pushing deep into a lane is questionable. Why? When you push all the way into a lane, you expose yourself more to ganks and you basically shutdown that lane. Therefore, you will be sitting around neutraling around the map while your opponent stays in his lane farming. If you try to go back in this lane, you will probably be very far in that lane and you will probably be ganked.
